Interactive video

Updated September 26, 2026

Open a video’s Interactions tab and click Add interaction. A video can have as many as you like; they appear in time order and never overlap.

Types

  • Email capture: a form shown before the video starts, at a time, or when it ends. Make it Required so viewers can’t skip it, ask for a name, and add up to five extra fields (company, role…).
  • Call to action: pauses the video with a heading, text and a button link. Viewers can continue watching.
  • Annotation card: a small link in the corner for a few seconds, without pausing.
  • End screen: a heading, an optional button and Watch again when the video finishes.

New interactions start at the preview player’s current time, so pause the preview where you want one and click Add interaction. You can also type a time or click Use preview time. Click Save interactions when you’re done.

Who sees a form

Viewers who have already filled in a form for a video aren’t asked again on that device. On WordPress sites where you’ve turned on email identification, logged-in users skip forms too.

Results

Each interaction shows its views and conversion rate. Form submissions appear in Leads, and each interaction is marked on the retention chart so you can see its effect on viewing.
