Why teams choose Pellio Drive

A drive that’s part of the whole job.

  • A flat price for 5 people, then $8 a person and $30 a terabyte, with no member caps
  • SSO, SCIM and the audit log in every plan
  • Proxies made for you beside every camera file
  • Every file also copied to a second cloud provider
  • Send a cut for client review and publish the approved one, without copying a file

Where LucidLink is ahead

What Pellio Drive doesn’t do yet.

  • Zero-knowledge encryption by default (Pellio manages the keys for now)
  • Your own cloud storage account behind the drive
  • Apps for iPad and phones
  • A cheaper plan for one or two people with little footage
  • Years in production: Pellio Drive is new

The difference

LucidLink stops at the drive.

With LucidLink, the edit lives on the drive and everything after it happens somewhere else: a review tool, a video host, a file transfer. With Pellio, the same file goes from the drive to client review to your website.

Questions, answered

Will my editors notice the difference?+
They work the same way: a drive in Finder, files that open when they need them, and locks on projects someone has open.
How do I move from LucidLink?+
Mount your LucidLink filespace and run the Pellio Drive importer on it. It copies everything across, skips what’s already there, and can be run again until the day you switch.
Is my footage encrypted?+
Yes. Every file is cut into blocks sealed with AES-256 before they’re stored. Pellio holds the keys today, which is what makes previews, proxies and review possible; filespaces where only your team holds the keys are coming.

Mount it next to LucidLink and compare.

Start a trial, import a project, and open your biggest file on both.
