Analytics

Know who watched,
and what they skipped.

Every second watched is counted, so you see where people drop off, which pages and campaigns bring viewers, and exactly how much of your video each lead actually saw.

Every video

The numbers that tell you if a video works.

Pellio records which seconds each viewer actually watched, not just that they pressed play, so rewinds and skips don’t inflate the numbers.

  • Loads, plays, play rate and unique viewers
  • Watch time, average percentage watched and how many reach 25, 50, 75 and 100%
  • A retention curve that shows the second people leave
  • Where it was watched: pages, domains, devices, browsers and countries

Every viewer

See exactly what each person watched.

Follow up with the lead who watched the pricing section twice, not the one who left after ten seconds.

  • Viewers are identified by the email they gave in a form, an ?email= link from your campaigns, or their WordPress sign-in
  • A heatmap per viewer and per session: watched, skipped and rewatched
  • Export to CSV, or send milestones to your CRM as they happen

Questions, answered

How is a “view” counted?+
A load is each time the player appears on a page; a play is when someone presses play (or it autoplays). Watch time and percentages come from the seconds actually watched, so skipping ahead doesn’t count as watching.
Can I see who watched?+
For identified viewers, yes: people who entered their email in a video form, came from a link with ?email=, or were signed in to your connected WordPress site. Everyone else is counted anonymously.
Does Pellio use cookies for analytics?+
The player keeps an anonymous ID in its own storage to count unique viewers. On WordPress with a supported consent plugin it waits for consent, and you can turn tracking off per embed.
Can I get the data out?+
Export viewers and leads to CSV, pull stats over the REST API, or receive them as webhooks.
