SCORM
Put a Pellio video in any SCORM LMS and report real completion.
What you can do
- Add a Pellio video to an LMS that has no Pellio integration, such as Moodle, TalentLMS, Docebo or SCORM Cloud.
- Report the lesson completed once the learner has watched enough unique seconds, with the percent watched as the score.
- Turn on No skipping ahead for the package.
- Carry progress over between sessions, so learners pick up where they left off.
Set it up
- Open the video in Pellio and go to its Share links card.
- Click SCORM package.
- Choose Complete after watching: 50, 75, 90, 95 or 100% of the video (90% by default).
- Choose whether to turn on No skipping ahead.
- Click Download package, then upload the zip to your LMS as a SCORM 1.2 package.
Good to know
- The package contains no video. It plays through a share link made for it, listed as SCORM package in the Share links card, so private videos play inside the LMS. Turning that link off stops the package everywhere, and replacing the video updates it too.
- When the LMS’s student id is an email address, the learner is named in the video’s Viewers tab, and their milestones go into the learner log and to your LRS if you use xAPI.
- With No skipping ahead on, the video starts from the beginning each time, but earlier watching still counts.
- Packages are for videos hosted on Pellio, not linked YouTube or Vimeo videos.
- Needs the Advanced plan.
