Pellio Review for DaVinci Resolve
Client notes, on your timeline.
At the frame they meant.
Upload a render from Resolve, send your client a link, and import their comments back as timeline markers: open notes in blue, resolved ones in green, ranges at their full length.
The round trip
From the Deliver page and back, in four steps.
- 1
Render and upload
Export from the Deliver page and drop the file into a Pellio Review project. Uploads keep going while you work.
- 2
Share a link
Clients open it in a browser, without an account, and comment on the exact frame or a range, or draw on the picture.
- 3
Import the markers
Export the comments as a marker EDL and import it into your timeline with Timeline Markers from EDL.
- 4
Upload the next version
Open comments carry over, versions compare side by side, and the client approves the one that’s right.
What lands in Resolve
One marker per comment, in your timeline’s timecode.
Pellio reads the frame rate and start timecode from your render, drop-frame included, so a note at 01:00:12:08 in the browser is a marker at 01:00:12:08 in Resolve.
- Open comments in blue, resolved ones in green
- Range comments keep their length
- The reviewer’s name and the number of replies in each marker
- Internal notes only when you ask for them

Made for colourists and editors
Everything a Resolve review needs.
Frame-accurate
SMPTE timecode, frame stepping with the arrow keys, and J/K/L shuttle for you and your client.
Up to 4K for grading notes
Reviewers see your render in up to 4K, with zoom up to 8× and a difference blend between versions.
Every version kept
Upload v2 onto v1, compare them side by side or as a wipe, and keep every comment with its version.
Approvals you can rely on
Name who must approve and by when. Pellio reminds them, and the file is approved only when everyone has signed off.
Other formats too
The same comments as Premiere Pro XML, Final Cut Pro XML, CSV or a PDF report with each frame.
Originals stay original
Your render is kept as you uploaded it, and clients can download it when you allow it.
