ActiveCampaign
Start ActiveCampaign automations from video forms and viewing.
What you can do
- Create or update a contact, tagged Pellio, for everyone who fills in a Pellio email form.
- Put new leads on a list of your choice.
- Keep Pellio custom fields up to date: last video watched, progress and videos completed.
- Tag contacts Watched: video title when they finish a video, to start automations.
Set it up
- In ActiveCampaign, go to Settings → Developer and copy your API URL and API key.
- In Pellio, go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect on ActiveCampaign.
- Paste the API URL and key.
- To add new leads to a list, enter its List ID. Open the list in ActiveCampaign: the number is in its URL.
- Save. Pellio checks the credentials straight away.
- Leave Sync video engagement on if you want watch data in ActiveCampaign.
Good to know
- Engagement is sent for identified viewers: people who filled in a form, came from a link with
?email=, or are signed in on your connected WordPress site. - Milestones are start, 25%, 50%, 75% and complete (90% of the video, counting only what they actually watched, across visits). Each is sent once.
- Engagement only updates people who are already contacts. It never adds anyone.
- Pellio creates its custom fields the first time it needs them.
- Credentials are stored encrypted. A failing sync shows the last error, and leads stay in Pellio.
- Needs the Standard plan or above.
