What you can do

• Add a Pellio Video field to any ACF field group.
• Let editors pick a video from your Pellio library when they edit a post.
• Choose what the field returns: Player HTML, Video id or Video data.
• Build custom post types, like a course catalogue or a video gallery, with a Pellio video on each entry.

Set it up

1. Install the Pellio plugin and connect your account in Pellio → Settings.
2. In ACF, open a field group and add a field.
3. Set its Field Type to Pellio Video.
4. Choose the Return format. Tick Allow null if the field can be left empty.
5. Save the field group, then pick a video on a post that uses it.
6. In your template, output the field. With Player HTML, echo it. With Video id, pass it to pellio_video( $id ).

Good to know

• pellio_video( $id, $atts ) returns the player HTML and accepts the same options as the shortcode.
• Videos show a lightweight thumbnail until someone presses play.
• Private videos play on your site because embeds from a connected site are signed for each page view.
• Developers can adjust any embed’s attributes with the pellio_embed_atts filter.
