What you can do

• Paste a video’s share page link (pellio.io/v/VIDEO_ID) into Workover or any other editor that supports oEmbed, and it becomes a Pellio player.
• Skip copying embed code for public and unlisted videos.
• Keep your domain rules: the player it creates follows the video’s allowed domains like any other embed.

Set it up

1. Open the video in Pellio and check Who can watch is Public or Unlisted.
2. If Only play on my allowed domains is on, add the site’s domain in Settings → General → Allowed embed domains.
3. Copy the video’s share link from its Embed & share tab.
4. Paste the link on its own line in your editor. It turns into the player.

Good to know

• Private videos don’t work through oEmbed. Use a signed embed from a connected WordPress site, or an expiring share link.
• On WordPress, the Pellio plugin handles pasted share links itself and turns them into the signed Pellio player, private videos included.
• Add ?start=SECONDS to a share link to start at a moment.
