Presto Player

What you can do

• Find Presto Player blocks, Media Hub items and [presto_player] shortcodes in every post type and custom field.
• Switch Presto’s YouTube, Vimeo and Media Library videos to the Pellio player straight away.
• Point videos you’ve already imported into Pellio at the Pellio-hosted copy.
• Preview every change first, and undo any run.

Set it up

1. Install the Pellio plugin and connect it in Pellio → Settings.
2. If some Presto videos came from Vimeo or Wistia, import that library into Pellio first, so the scan can match them.
3. Go to Pellio → Migration and click Scan this site. It shows what it found and which videos are already in your Pellio library.
4. Click Preview changes to see what would change.
5. Click Replace embeds. The run is backed up and listed under Previous runs, with Undo.
6. To move Media Library files to Pellio hosting, use Move videos to Pellio on the same page.

Good to know

• Presto’s Bunny.net streams stay as they are until the video is imported into Pellio (upload the original, or import it from a link); then they switch too.
• Presto thumbnails are carried over to the Pellio block.
• You can do the same from WP-CLI: wp pellio scan, wp pellio migrate --dry-run, wp pellio migrate and wp pellio rollback.
• Migration backups stay even if you remove the plugin, so a reinstall can still undo a run.
