Vimeo integration

What you can do

Import up to 1,000 videos per run, with their titles, descriptions, captions and thumbnails.
Recreate your Vimeo folders as Pellio folders.
Keep privacy: public stays public, unlisted and embed-only become Unlisted, and anything restricted becomes Private.
Turn timestamps in descriptions, like 0:00 Intro, into chapters.
On WordPress, swap old Vimeo embeds for Pellio across every post.

At developer.vimeo.com → My Apps, generate a personal access token with the Private and Video Files scopes.
In Pellio, click Import in the Library and open the Vimeo tab.
Paste the token and click Find videos. Pellio lists your videos with thumbnails, lengths and folders.
Untick any you don’t want, choose whether to recreate folders, and click Import.
If your site runs WordPress, go to Pellio → Migration in the plugin, click Scan this site, preview the changes and click Replace embeds.

Downloads must be available on your Vimeo plan.
Passwords can’t be copied, so password-protected videos come in as Private. Add a password in Pellio if you need one.
The token is used for that import only and never stored.
Videos already imported are marked Imported, so a large library can come across in several runs.
Each file has to fit in your plan’s storage. A video that doesn’t shows as failed with the reason, and the rest carry on.
