What you can do

• Add VideoObject structured data to every page with a Pellio-hosted video that’s ready and not Private.
• Include chapters as key moments (or a “seek to” action without chapters) and, when the video has captions, its transcript.
• Get a video sitemap at /pellio-video-sitemap.xml, listed in the Rank Math sitemap index.
• Join each page’s VideoObject to the Rank Math schema graph, instead of a separate script.

Set it up

1. Install the Pellio plugin with Rank Math active.
2. Connect your Pellio account in Pellio → Settings. Structured data needs a connected site.
3. Add Pellio videos to your pages. There’s nothing else to configure.
4. Open your Rank Math sitemap index to check the Pellio video sitemap is listed.

Good to know

• The sitemap leaves out password-protected posts and videos, and the transcript is left out for password-protected videos.
• The video sitemap is also listed in robots.txt. Without pretty permalinks, it’s at ?pellio_video_sitemap=1.
• Add chapters and captions to a video in Pellio to get key moments and a transcript in the structured data.
• Developers can adjust the output with pellio_video_sitemap, pellio_output_schema, pellio_schema_transcript and pellio_post_video_ids.
