Earn money with the Pellio affiliate program
On this page
The affiliate program pays you for recommending Pellio. Share your link; when someone signs up through it and pays for a plan, you earn 25% of every payment they make for their first 12 months. It’s built into Pellio, so you apply, track and get paid from your account. The program page has the overview and the affiliate terms the details.
Apply
- Open the account menu (your picture, top right) and click Affiliate program. Any Pellio account can apply, including Free.
- Choose your link name: 3 to 32 lower case letters, digits or hyphens. It becomes your link, for example
pellio.io/?ref=yourname. - Tell us how you’d promote Pellio (your audience, where you’d share the link), accept the affiliate terms and click Apply.
We review every application and email you when it’s approved. Clicks only start counting once you’re approved: visits to your link before then aren’t recorded.
Share your link
- Your link works on every page of pellio.io and in every language: add
?ref=yournameto any pellio.io address, for examplepellio.io/pricing?ref=yourname. - Someone who clicks it is remembered in that browser for 60 days. If they click another affiliate’s link later, the newer link counts.
- When they create a workspace in that time, it’s linked to you for good. While Pellio is invite-only, asking for access through your link counts too: you’re credited when they’re invited and sign up.
- Clicks are counted once per visitor per day, so opening your own link twice in a day shows as one click.
- Clicks that come from paid ads (Google Ads and the like) aren’t credited. Advertising on Pellio’s name or your link isn’t allowed.
What you earn
- 25% of every payment a workspace you referred makes for its first 12 months, counted from its first payment. If we’ve agreed a different rate or length with you, your affiliate page shows it.
- Commission is on what the customer actually pays, before tax: the plan and any extra seats or storage on the subscription.
- AI dubbing, complimentary plans and credit from a downgrade earn nothing. You can’t earn on your own workspaces.
Follow your earnings
Your affiliate page shows clicks over the last 30 days, sign-ups, paying customers, and every commission. Who the customers are stays private. Each commission has a status:
- On hold: held for 30 days in case the payment is refunded.
- Approved: past the hold, waiting for the next monthly payout.
- In a payout: part of a payout we’re sending.
- Paid: sent to your bank account.
- Reversed: the payment was refunded or disputed.
Get paid
We pay once a month, by bank transfer in US dollars, once your approved balance reaches $50. Smaller balances carry over to the next month.
- On your affiliate page, under How you’re paid, enter the account holder’s name exactly as your bank has it, the account type and your country.
- Choose your bank’s country and enter your IBAN and BIC/SWIFT, or for UK and US banks your account number with the sort code or routing number.
- Add the account holder’s address (banks need it for US dollar transfers) and click Save.
Each payout comes with an email that is your invoice: we raise it on your behalf (self-billing), so you don’t need to send us one. If you’re registered for VAT in the UK, add your VAT number and we add 20% VAT to each payout. Bank fees and currency conversion on your side are yours.
Refunds
If a customer’s payment is refunded or disputed while its commission is on hold, the commission is reduced or cancelled. If it happens after we’ve paid you, the amount is taken off your next payout.
A customer signed up on another device
Your link is remembered in the browser it was clicked in. If someone you referred signed up somewhere else, a workspace owner or admin can credit you within 14 days of creating the workspace: in Settings → Billing & usage, under Who referred you?, they paste your link or code and click Credit them.
The rules
Tell your audience your link is an affiliate link. Don’t run ads on Pellio’s name, list Pellio on coupon or cashback sites, or refer yourself. The affiliate terms have everything else. Questions? Ask us.
