Captions
Open a video, choose a language in the Captions card and click .vtt / .srt to upload a caption file. You can add one track per language: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic.

In the player, the CC button turns captions on and off. With more than one language, viewers choose one in the settings menu → Captions.
To replace a track, upload a new file for the same language. Remove deletes it.
To show captions by default in an embed, turn on Captions on by default in the Embed & share tab (or add captions=1 to the player URL). This turns on the first track.
Search your library by what was said
The search box in your Library also matches the words in every caption track, not just titles and descriptions. Under each video that matches, Pellio lists the moments where the words are said, with a timestamp. Click one to open the video at that moment. Searches aren’t case-sensitive and match phrases that run across two captions. Over the API, GET /v1/videos?q= returns these as moments (language, t in seconds, and a snippet).
Captions also give the video a searchable Transcript in the player and on its share page. Pellio doesn’t generate captions: upload a file from your editing or transcription tool. Linked YouTube and Vimeo videos use the captions on YouTube or Vimeo.
