Search what was said in your videos
Updated October 1, 2026
Pellio keeps the text of every caption track, so the search in your library finds videos by what’s said in them, not just by their title and description.
Search your library
- Type in the search box at the top of your library.
- Videos match on their title, description or captions.
- When the words appear in captions, the result lists the moments they were said, with the time and a snippet.
- Click a moment to open the video at that exact second.
What gets searched
Every caption track you add (in any language), and captions created by AI dubbing. Videos without captions are found by title and description only. See Captions to add them.
From your AI assistant
If you’ve connected an AI assistant through Pellio’s MCP server, it can search transcripts too and give you share links that start at the right moment. See AI assistants (MCP).
