Clients and restricted projects
There are two ways to bring in someone from outside your team. A review link needs no account. A client signs in to Pellio and sees only the projects you give them, including every new file and version you add there.
Invite a client
- Go to Settings → Team, enter their email and choose the role Client.
- Tick the Review projects they should see, then click Invite.
- They get an email, create an account (or sign in) and land in Review with just those projects.
Clients can watch, comment (with drawings, voice notes and attachments), and approve or request changes. They never see internal notes, can’t upload, share or manage projects, and don’t use an editor place or a seat on your plan.

Choose who sees a project
On a project, click Access. Tick a client to give them the project, or untick them to take it away. Turn on Restricted to keep the project to the teammates you tick; admins and owners always see every project.

What clients can use
In Review → Editors & billing → Clients, admins choose whether clients can download files, exports and PDF reports, and whether they see Publish kits and the content calendar (coming soon; the calendar is off by default).

To change what a client sees later, use Access on the project, or change their role in Settings → Team.
