The Premiere Pro panel

The Pellio Review panel works in Premiere Pro 25.6 or later on macOS and Windows.

  1. In Pellio, open Review → Premiere Pro and click the download button.
  2. Double-click the downloaded .ccx file; Creative Cloud installs the panel.
  3. In Premiere Pro, open Window → Extensions → Pellio Review.
  4. Click Sign in. Your browser opens Pellio with a code: check it matches the one in the panel and click Connect.

In the panel, open a project and an asset to see a version’s comments. Add … as markers puts every timed comment on the active sequence as a marker (ranges keep their length, and markers already added aren’t added twice). Click a timecode to move the playhead there, and tick a comment to resolve it.

To send your next cut, click Export sequence and upload (the first time, choose the export preset to use) or Choose a file for an export you’ve already made. It uploads as the next version and reviewers are told when it’s ready.

Markers line up when the version was exported from the start of the sequence. Computers you’ve signed in on are listed under Review → Premiere Pro, where you can disconnect them.

Export comments

On an asset, click Export. Tick Include internal notes if you want them too.

  • Premiere Pro markers: an XML file. In Premiere Pro, choose File → Import; it opens as a sequence carrying the comments as markers.
  • DaVinci Resolve markers: an EDL file. In Resolve, right-click the timeline and choose Timelines → Import → Timeline Markers from EDL. Open comments are blue, resolved ones green.
  • Spreadsheet: a CSV with timecodes, authors, comments, replies and status.
  • PDF report: every comment with the frame it’s on and any drawing, its author, status and replies. Click Make the report; it’s ready to download in a few seconds to a minute.
