Prepare and approve what you publish
Every Review file has a Publish tab next to Review. It holds what you’ll publish with the video, for each place it’s going, so the title, description and thumbnail are approved in the same place as the cut.
The master copy and destinations
The Master copy holds the title, description, chapters and tags. Each destination (YouTube, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, a podcast, the Pellio Library) starts from it: turn off Use the master copy on a field to write it differently there. YouTube’s description adds the chapters automatically. Each field shows the platform’s limit as you type (YouTube: 100 characters for a title, 5,000 for a description, 500 for tags), and warns about anything the platform won’t accept. Click Destinations to choose where this file is going.

Approve field by field
Anyone who can see the file approves each field when it reads right: your team, clients and reviewers on a review link (they find the same fields under Publish next to the comments). Editing a field resets its approval, and editing the master copy resets the destination fields that use it. Reviewers can’t change your wording: they click Suggest an edit, and you see their version as tracked changes. Accept it and the field takes their wording, approved by them; Reject it and nothing changes. Every field also has comments and, for your team, its history.

Thumbnails
Under Thumbnail, upload a few options. Everyone can vote; you pick the one to use with Use this. YouTube takes thumbnails up to 2 MB at 1280×720.
Draft with AI
Click Draft with AI on the Publish tab and tick what you want: title options, a description, chapters, tags or social posts. Pellio writes them from the file’s transcript (transcribe it first on the Review tab, or add captions) and your workspace’s style guide, and shows them next to the kit: nothing changes until you click Use. Drafts only say what the video says. 200 drafts a month are included in Pellio Review.

The style guide, in Review → Style guide, sets the tone of voice, words to avoid, the links that end every description and a description template. It applies to everyone’s drafts.

Publish
Publishing never waits for approvals, but Pellio tells you which fields aren’t approved yet. Download everything downloads the file, the chosen thumbnail, the captions as SRT and the copy as a text file, ready to paste into YouTube Studio or another platform. For the Pellio Library and Pellio podcasts, Publish on that destination puts the approved version in your Library with the kit’s title, description and chapters (and adds it to the podcast you choose). Uploading to YouTube straight from Pellio is coming next.
